Greenbriar Challenge
Dillon went up to Greenbriar this weekend and crushed it placing 4th in the 15-16 sport cat. He had a pretty tough wreck but got back on the bike and did not lose any placings. Also, rumor has it that A. Strattman placed 8th in his division. Good stuff.

Backpacking Trip
Mr. Anderson and I took six boys backpacking in Shenandoah National Park for Earh Day 2009. We experience every type of weather pattern that mother nature can throw at a group (rain, snow, sleet, wind and clear skies). We started at Swift Run Gap and made the trek up to High Top shelter. On the way we enjoyed dinner at the summit of High Top and got to watch the sun set. Once at the shelter we had a little dessert and set up camp. The next morning we all slept in then had breakfast. During breakfast the boys had the opportunity to meet a guy who is hiking the whole AT. Once finished with breakfast we began the hike back to Swift Run. A couple of hours later and after a lunch of pizza pitas we were on our way back to the ridge. All in all a great trip.
